Jill's Dresses

Our lovely neighbour Jill has three almost grown boys. Since she never got to buy pretty girl clothes for   her own, she now generously spoils my girls with pretty clothes. Every year on the girls birthday, she buys them dresses. These dresses were quickly named, "Jill's Dresses". They beg to wear them on special occasions. Well, they bed to wear them all the time, but I try and keep it to special occasions.

The Cat in the Hat

Recently we had a field trip with HCOS to go see the Cat and the Hat live theatre production.
We have seen a couple of other plays there, and definitely felt like the other plays were better (Frog and Toad) but this was still very entertaining!
Bonus was going with a our great friends, eating doughnuts and feeding birds.

Our Eva:

-she has learned how to jump rope
-play djembe drum
-tried her hand at tennis
-joined the swim team
-she continues to enjoy her ballet class
-can build numbers to the 1,000's
-she can read phonetic words and is getting better and better with sight words
-she likes to bake
-she would craft and colour all day long if I let her
-she loves to eat fruits and veggies
-she loves to ride her bike, but not on the Dyke!
-she likes to play Barbie, Lego Friends, and pretend.
